Badrinath darshan · Alaknanda valley stays
Choose your Badrinath night halt and vehicle size so the quote reflects the actual Alaknanda valley route.
Enquire nowCall +91 7409433376Badrinath is a Vishnu shrine in the Garhwal Himalaya of Chamoli district, beside the Alaknanda River. Its road access makes it a distinct pilgrimage from the trekking approach to Kedarnath, although the drive still crosses high terrain and may face weather-related delays.

Suggested day-by-day itinerary
This road based pilgrimage follows the Alaknanda valley toward Badrinath, with overnight planning that leaves time for darshan and nearby permitted sightseeing.
Day 1
Leave Haridwar and drive up the Alaknanda valley, breaking the journey around Rudraprayag or Srinagar.
Day 2
Continue past Joshimath to Badrinath; check in and visit the temple according to the current schedule.
Day 3
Allow time for a second darshan or nearby stops, then travel to a lower-altitude overnight halt.
Day 4
Return to Haridwar.
What the package can include
Choose a private car or group vehicle and a hotel standard for the Badrinath night or an earlier valley stop. We identify the room sharing and meal plan before accepting a booking.
What is not automatically included
Entry charges at optional stops, personal offerings, meals outside the written plan and extra nights caused by disrupted roads are outside a basic quote unless included.
Route and how to reach
Haridwar → Devprayag → Rudraprayag → Joshimath → Badrinath. The road distance is roughly 300–330 km each way depending on route and pickup, but a mountain drive requires a full day or an intermediate night.
From Haridwar or Rishikesh, the road heads through the Alaknanda valley toward Joshimath and Badrinath. A Dehradun pickup changes the first leg; allow a full mountain travel day rather than a fixed arrival hour.
Best time and opening dates
Badrinath darshan follows an annually announced temple season. We check the official notice for your dates and allow for mountain weather in the route.
For a shrine journey, use the official Uttarakhand Tourist Care portal for applicable registration and notices. Badrinath’s temple season dates are announced each year. Confirm the current opening notice and registration requirement before booking a late season departure.
Price and booking
Ask for a Badrinath quote with hotel location, room occupancy, vehicle size and the number of nights you need; add Mana only when access and time permit.
Frequently asked questions

Do hotel prices change by season?
